YoungArts Winner, 2024 in Voice Popular, Shohini has been teaching students since fifth grade as part of her volunteer work. But since the summer of 2023, she has started her music school, "Lyrical" for young kids, and teaches Western vocals while still volunteering at different organizations, teaching and performing music. Through her music school earnings, Shohini sponsors community events like Project ADAM - a free EKG heart-screening event for youths 12 through 25, TEDxFolsom High School Youth, and new blankets for Shriners Children's Hospital. Through her school and with her students, she organizes biannual community toy and blanket drives for the children's hospitals. Lyrical Music School always accepts community donations of gently used board games, small musical instruments, blankets, toys, stuffed animals, books, and other things suitable for children's use for donation.
